As a schoolgirl I made natural beauty products, fairly unsuccessfully but this did start my lifetime interest in beauty. I had considered studying this but went to art school instead to study fashion and textiles. However, beauty has crept into my life on a few occasions. In London I had chance to work with aromatherapist Ruby Cook in her business Verde and more recently the Bath House an artisan beauty company based in Cumbria which produces wonderful products using natural and natural- derived products. I can discuss this more in my blog section, I believe that rather than mere vanity, beauty is more about self-care and feeling good as much as looking good.
